Outlaw Chuck Wagon Refund & Return Policy

Effective Date: June 8, 2026

At Outlaw Chuck Wagon, we take pride in serving fresh, made-to-order food and providing dependable service at events, festivals, private gatherings, and other locations. We want our customers and event hosts to be satisfied with their experience.

This Refund & Return Policy explains how we handle refunds, returns, cancellations, and concerns regarding food purchases and event bookings.

1. Food & Beverage Purchases

Because our food is prepared fresh and made to order, all food and beverage sales are generally final once an order has been prepared or served.

If your order is incorrect, incomplete, damaged, or does not meet reasonable quality expectations, please notify an Outlaw Chuck Wagon team member as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

  • Replace or remake the affected item;

  • Provide a substitute item of comparable value; or

  • Issue a partial or full refund at our discretion.

We may request the original item and/or proof of purchase before providing a replacement or refund.

2. Change of Mind

Refunds will generally not be provided because a customer:

  • Changes their mind after ordering;

  • Does not like an item that was prepared correctly;

  • Orders the wrong item;

  • Fails to disclose a dietary preference or restriction before ordering; or

  • Does not consume the entire order.

We will make reasonable efforts to address legitimate concerns regarding food quality or order accuracy.

3. Event & Catering Deposits

Deposits or booking fees may be required to reserve Outlaw Chuck Wagon for private events, horse shows, festivals, corporate events, weddings, community events, or other engagements.

Unless otherwise stated in a written booking agreement, invoice, or contract:

Deposits are non-refundable because the requested date and service period are reserved specifically for the customer and may prevent us from accepting other bookings.

Any cancellation terms contained in a signed booking agreement or contract will take precedence over this general policy.

4. Event Cancellations

If a customer cancels an event after making a deposit, the deposit may be retained by Outlaw Chuck Wagon.

Additional amounts already paid may be refundable depending upon:

  • How far in advance the cancellation occurs;

  • Food, supplies, or inventory already purchased for the event;

  • Labor or staffing commitments;

  • Travel or other expenses already incurred; and

  • The terms of the applicable booking agreement.

Any approved refund may be reduced by non-recoverable expenses incurred in preparation for the event.

5. Cancellation by Outlaw Chuck Wagon

If Outlaw Chuck Wagon must cancel a confirmed booking and cannot provide the agreed-upon service, amounts paid for services that will not be provided will generally be refunded.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential expenses incurred by the customer as a result of a cancellation, except where otherwise required by law or expressly agreed to in writing.

6. Weather & Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Outdoor events may be affected by severe weather, unsafe operating conditions, venue restrictions, governmental orders, equipment failures, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

When an event cannot safely or legally proceed, Outlaw Chuck Wagon will work with the customer, when practical, to reschedule the booking or apply eligible payments toward a future date.

Refund eligibility in these situations will depend upon the circumstances, expenses already incurred, and the applicable booking agreement.

7. Merchandise Returns

If Outlaw Chuck Wagon sells branded merchandise or other non-food products, unused merchandise may be eligible for return within 30 days of purchase, provided that:

  • The item is unused and in its original condition;

  • The customer provides proof of purchase; and

  • The item was not customized or personalized.

Customized, personalized, clearance, and final-sale merchandise is non-refundable unless defective or otherwise required by applicable law.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original method of payment whenever possible.

Processing times may vary depending on the customer’s bank, credit card company, payment processor, or financial institution.

9. Food Safety Concerns

Customers should immediately notify us of any suspected food quality or food safety concern.

Customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions should inform our staff before placing an order. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, food may be prepared in areas where common allergens are present, and we cannot guarantee that any menu item is completely free from cross-contact unless expressly stated otherwise.

10. How to Request a Refund or Report a Problem

To request consideration for a refund, replacement, or other resolution, please contact Outlaw Chuck Wagon and provide:

  • Your name;

  • Date and location of purchase or event;

  • Description of the order or service;

  • Reason for the request; and

  • Receipt, invoice, or other proof of purchase when available.
